We are so so excited to have Martha coming out for this special show! Its been a while since she’s been in the area and will be a bit till she’s back again so nows the time! And of course we are doing this show to celebrate our new cd “Sunday Never Comes”! Which we will have available at the show, as well as (hopefuly if we get it in time) hats, shirts, posters, etc…. Well we had quite a time in Nashville. Spent the last three days playing and hanging out with a lot musicians and promoters, etc etc. Glad to be home to play a bit this weekend. So wanted to remind you to come out tonight(Friday) to the White Eagle. We are stoked to have Josh Cole on the bill as well! Gonna be a good time. 9:30 pm Only a 6$ cover!
Tommorow(Saturday) we will be playing a new venue for us. The Brasserie Monmatre! You may think we have to have some parisian swing coming out of our instruments to play a place with the name but NO they want bluegrass! We play 9-12, its a free show. Come on downtown and hang out with us at this nice venue! Ok see you then…..
Kickstarter goal achieved!!! Thank you all of our fans for this wonderful sign of faith in our band. We are putting this out in a way we have never have done before. With all the extra little things that you see bands on labels having(press, vinyl, merch,etc) but with just our fans funding the whole thing!!! Alrighty people. I have to say we are overwhelmed by the generosity coming from every which way. We thank you so much for your support! It means so much. We are planning on being in nashville at the IBMA conference(international bluegrass music association)in september to support the release of this new album! yeehaw!! We are so excited that we got our good friend and former banjo player Von Wilson to fill in for Cory Goldman on our upcoming midwest tour in October!! Von was our bandmate for 6(ish) years and played on our album The Farrington Sessions(recorded on farrington street in Alston,Massachussets in the midst of a east coast tour). We will miss our buddy/banjo shredder Cory Goldman on this trip but are elated to get a former bandmate to fill in. You all (as well as we are ) are in for a treat!! See you all there!!!
